The Girl
A mysterious pale girl in a white dress who appears throughout RE9. She cannot be damaged by any weapon. Her presence triggers environmental hazards and enemy spawns. She is drawn to Grace through unknown connection to Project Elpis.

The Girl appears as an environmental hazard. When she is near Grace, infected spawn at double rate. When she locks eyes with Grace, Grace cannot move for 3 seconds (unless Flash Grenade is used).
- • Keep maximum distance — if she locks eyes, use Flash Grenade immediately
- • Leon can distract her in co-op sections — Leon + Grace split routes
- • She cannot enter save rooms or Merchant rooms

Grace

- Hemolytic Injector (for spawned infected only)
Tips
- • Never attack The Girl directly — waste of ammo
- • Flash Grenade stuns her for 5 seconds — stock 2–3 per chapter
- • In Chapter 6 ARK Facility, she merges with Elpis Core — becomes damageable there only
Achievements
- Don't Look Now (complete Chapter 1 without being locked by The Girl)
- Staring Contest (stay within 5m of The Girl for 60 seconds without being locked)
