Claire Redfield
Claire Redfield arrived in Raccoon City on September 29, 1998 — the same night Leon Kennedy began his first RPD shift — looking for her brother Chris Redfield, who had gone missing while investigating Umbrella. Instead of finding Chris, she found the city overrun with the T-Virus. She partnered with Leon to survive the RPD, sewers, and Umbrella facility, also protecting orphaned girl Sherry Birkin — daughter of the G-Virus creator.
After Raccoon City, Claire continued searching for Chris and became involved with TerraSave, a civilian NGO focused on bioterrorism survivor advocacy. Her approach to the franchise's horror is distinct from trained operatives like Leon and Jill — she represents civilian resilience, adaptability, and protective instinct.
Fierce, direct, and deeply protective of those around her. Unlike Leon's sardonic professionalism, Claire wears her emotions openly. She is quick to act and slow to forgive those responsible for civilian suffering.
