It uses Rifle Ammo, making each shot extremely precious. A single Redemption shot instantly kills any standard zombie or non-armored enemy regardless of hit location, making it the most ammo-efficient single-shot weapon for prioritized targets when Rifle Ammo is available. Its base Power stat of 4.8 is comparable to the MSBG 500 shotgun at close range, but delivered at any distance. The Redemption is described in-game files as a prototype weapon developed for BSAA special operations — a field execution tool for confirmed high-value biological threats.
