RPG-7
The RPG-7 is the game's nuclear option — a shoulder-fired rocket launcher that deals catastrophic AoE damage to anything in its blast radius. Each use requires a single rocket, and rockets cannot be found in the environment — they must be purchased individually from the item shop after the initial launcher unlock. On first playthrough, the RPG-7 costs 15,000 CP from the Bonus Content shop (unlocked after completion). On subsequent playthroughs, it is available from the item box for an in-game cost. Against Victor Gideon's Phase 2 secondary orbital cores, a single RPG-7 rocket can destroy all four cores simultaneously if fired from the correct position, immediately exposing the central core and potentially halving the fight's duration. It is also a clean one-shot solution to the Titan Spinner's enraged phase when the acid pool limits movement.

Expert Tips
Save all RPG Rounds for the Victor Phase 2 fight. Stand at the northwest corner pillar facing southeast to hit all four orbital cores simultaneously with a single round. This saves approximately 2–3 minutes in the boss fight and conserves Requiem Revolver ammo for the central core. Do not use the RPG-7 on Titan Spinner or Plant 43 — those fights are more efficiently handled with other weapons.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you get the RPG-7 in RE9 Requiem?
The RPG-7 is a Bonus Content shop item costing 15,000 CP, unlocked after completing the main story. CP is earned by completing in-game Challenges — review the Challenges menu during your first playthrough to maximize CP earned. On second playthroughs, you can carry the RPG-7 from the item box in Chapter 1.
Is the RPG-7 worth 15,000 CP?
Yes, for Insanity difficulty where boss HP pools are significantly larger. On Standard difficulty the game is beatable without it. On Insanity, an RPG-7 rocket fired at Victor Gideon Phase 2 dramatically reduces the fight's difficulty. It also enables the 'Massive Overkill' trophy.
Can you use the RPG-7 inside buildings?
Technically yes, but the blast radius will damage Leon severely in confined spaces. It is designed for outdoor boss arenas. Using it in an enclosed corridor or room will trigger a 'stagger' animation on Leon from the concussive force — and potentially kill him on higher difficulties.
