Following widespread completion of RE9's Secret Ending, Capcom has acknowledged fan theories about a Grace Ashcroft standalone story DLC scheduled for later in 2026.
After thousands of players unlocked RE9 Requiem's Secret Ending (requiring Insanity difficulty completion with True Ending conditions), Capcom producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi responded to fan questions on Twitter/X, stating: 'We have plans for Grace's story. RE9 is not the last time players will see her.' The Secret Ending's silhouette figure and the 'classified file' reference strongly suggest a standalone DLC expansion focused on Grace following the events of RE9. No formal DLC announcement has been made - Capcom has confirmed a 'Requiem Content Roadmap' presentation is scheduled for GDC 2026 (March 17-19, 2026).
