Flash Grenade
A blinding flashbang crafted from Hand Grenade + Flash Powder. Stuns all enemies in radius for 5 seconds. Particularly effective against The Girl in early encounters (delays her movement toward Grace) and The Commander in Phase 2.

Crafted: Hand Grenade + Flash Powder (Flash Powder = 2× Gunpowder Type C). Cannot be found pre-crafted. Flash Powder is found in: Care Center Director's Office drawer (x1), RPD Evidence Storage (x2), ARK Research Corridor (x2). All chapters.
Expert Tips
Flash Grenades stun The Girl for 5 seconds during the Care Center upper floor sections (Chapter 1 Grace) — they are the only item that affects her in pre-courtyard encounters. Stock 2–3 before each Grace chapter with The Girl present. The 5-second stun allows safe passage through her patrol zone. Also stuns The Commander in Phase 2 smoke — throw into the smoke when you hear footsteps to create a guaranteed strike window.
