Capcom Confirms RE9 DLC Roadmap Reveal at GDC 2026 - What We Know

Capcom has confirmed a Resident Evil Requiem DLC content roadmap will be revealed at GDC 2026 (March 17-19). Here is everything confirmed and rumored.

Capcom has officially confirmed that a 'Resident Evil Requiem Post-Launch Content Roadmap' will be presented at GDC 2026 during the session 'Building a Sustainable Live Service Narrative' (March 19, 2026, 2PM PT). What Capcom has confirmed so far: The Mercenaries mode (already live, free), two 'narrative add-ons' described only as 'expanding RE9's story in unexpected directions', and a 'free update' adding a fourth playable character to The Mercenaries. Community speculation based on the Secret Ending: The first narrative add-on is almost universally expected to be a Grace Ashcroft standalone campaign. The second is speculated to involve the silhouette character from the Secret Ending post-credits scene - described in data-mined assets as 'AGENT_CLASSIFIED'. The Mercenaries fourth character is widely assumed to be Marcus Chen based on his Chapter 4 introduction and the BSAA Combat Spec equipment seen in the character silhouette.
