Plant 43 is the chapter 5 boss in RE9 Requiem. It has 6 bud-nodes (weak points) exposed on its central mass. Before fighting Plant 43, destroy all 9 seedlings: RPD Library x2 (glowing nodes on east and west bookshelves), RPD Evidence Room x1 (ceiling node near evidence shelf), RPD Parking Garage x1 (wall node east entrance), RPD East Hall x1 (ceiling node above the east corridor fallen beam), Orphanage Basement x2 (floor nodes near generator), Orphanage Chapel x2 (wall nodes left and right of altar - from req-008). Each destroyed seedling reduces Plant 43's total HP by approximately 12%. With all 9 destroyed, Plant 43 enters the fight at approximately 40% HP. Boss fight strategy: Use 2 Molotov Cocktails to clear initial vine density. Shoot bud-nodes with W870 shotgun (2 shots per node). Dodge vine grab by rolling diagonally. At 30% HP, Plant 43 reveals central face node - shoot with Requiem Revolver x3 for phase end.
